The Heavy tube square system is one of the high-density storage shelf systems. In addition, there are several things to note about gravity shelves.
The first point is that the total depth of the shelf (i.e. the length of the guide rail) should not be too large. In theory, the longer the track is, the larger the storage space for a single item is. However, the track is usually not too long. The first reason is that too long will affect the sliding of the goods; the second reason is that if there are not enough goods, the distance from loading to shipping will be too long, and the speed will be very fast, and there may be a flipping phenomenon at the terminal.
Second, if the shelf track is relatively long, some dampers are usually placed in the middle of the track to slow down the sliding speed of the goods to avoid the phenomenon of flipping. At the same time, in order to prevent the pallet goods from tipping over due to excessive impact when sliding to the bottom, a buffer device and a pick-up partition device should be installed at the lowest point of the ramp.
Third, this type of shelf should not be too high. Generally, the height of this type of shelf is required to be within 6 meters and 6 meters, and the weight of a single pallet is generally controlled within 1,000 kilograms, otherwise its reliability and operability will be problematic.
So if the factory needs to store a small variety of large quantities of goods, then it might as well use gravity shelves, which can bring you many benefits.
